For 2026 we were fortunate to be able to partner with the Amerind Museum in Dragoon and the University of Arizona’s Poetry Center.
Our 2023 retreat took place at Björklunden in Door County, Wisconsin, as we created a film in collaboration with Milwaukee's Overpass Light Brigade.
Our fourth annual week-long retreat for emerging Native poets took place in New York City in collaboration with NYU, MoMA, Poets House & The Poetry Project.
Our first retreat took place in our nation’s capitol and included U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo at the Library of Congress.
In 2024 we emphasized our #LanguageBack initiative to support Indigenous language revitalization during our third retreat that took place in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
