Kateri Menominee

2023 & 2025 Fellow, Indigenous Nations Poets

Kateri Menominee is a member of the Bay Mills Tribe and a graduate from the Institute of American Indian Arts in 2019. In the summer of 201 she attended the Naropa Summer Writing Workshop, as well as a recipient of In-Na-Po in 2023, and the IAIA Summer Film and Writing Workshop. She was the first recipient of the N. Scott Momaday Scholarship. And was published by the Rumpus, As/US, as well as many others. Her first chapbook was called Effigies II, published by Salt Publishing.
